Yr12 permeability experiments
As part of our water resources learning, yr12 are doing permeability experiments with sand and gravel....which allows water to pass through more quickly?

Phase diagram experiments
The Y13s were trying out a phase diagram experiment in Thursday's lesson using salol and thymol. The results are proving rather interesting and everyone came out smelling strongly of thyme!

Y13 Geology experiments
Y13 have planned their experiments and are starting to conduct them....with three different experiments going on this afternoon involving sand, glycerol, and golden syrup (sadly not edible afterwards!)
