YASS Opportunities for G&T students

We are looking at the possibility of students taking past in the OU YASS project. The opportunities are available in the following topic areas:
Fossils and the History of Life
Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsunamis

Students must apply before the end of this half term: February 8th

Geological Society of London Lectures

The Geologial Society of London has made the Shell sponsored lecture series available to watch on line. Lecture details will be updated as the programme progresses. the first, a Lecture by Dr. R. Iceland

A Level Geology field trip to Iceland, the "Land of Ice and Fire" will take place from September 29th to October 2nd 2008 !
